A few simple rules

Reveal every safe square without opening a mine.

Each number counts mines in the eight surrounding squares.

Flag suspected mines. The daily minefield is fixed, with a safe starting square indicated.

How to play

Choose a square to reveal it. The outlined starting square is guaranteed safe. Reset covers the same fixed minefield again. Click or tap to reveal a square. On a phone, hold a square to place or remove a flag. On PC, right-click to flag. Press X to toggle a flag with the keyboard. Arrow keys move between squares; Space reveals one. A mine ends the attempt; Undo lets you retry that move. Some boards may require a guess.

Tap a revealed number to uncover its remaining neighbors once the correct number of flags surrounds it. Incorrect flags can uncover a mine.
